KPC Once Again Awarded with Platinum Program HIV/AIDS from Minister of Manpower and Transmigrationabout 2 years
PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) for the fifth time since 2011, able to keep its Platinum title for Prevention and control of HIV/AIDS in the workplace.
Award of the certificate was given by the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri, at the K3 Award 2016, in Room Birawa Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Wednesday (18/5). On that occasion, the KPC is represented by External Manager and Technical Support Kusuma Sari.
Platinum Award is the highest appreciation of the government on a program of prevention and control of HIV / AIDS in the workplace. For five consecutive years since 2011, KPC was awarded platinum. Only in 2010, the KPC won the gold category.
"We must be thankful for the success of these achievements. KPC has been awarded since 2010 to 2016. It is the commitment of KPC in support of the prevention program of HIV / AIDS in the workplace, "said Immanuel Manege, General Manager of Health, Safety, Environment and Security, in Sangatta, Thursday (19/5).
Emmanuel further said, the main focus of KPC in the program of prevention and control of HIV / AIDS is to provide knowledge to employees and contractors on HIV / AIDS. After that, maintain health and to monitor the health conditions of all employees through medical check-ups every year.
The company also held a variety of socialization through a safety talk shows, seminars and distribution of brochures and various warnings on the celebration of the HIV / AIDS world. In the event K3 Award in 2016, the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration gives awards to the 100 best companies that run programs of prevention and control of HIV / AIDS in the workplace. While in the field of zero accidents is given to 840 companies and in the field K3 Management System (SMK3) given to 714 companies. (*)
